The U. S. Government Refers to Jesus Christ as “our Lord” in the Constitution

About 1,787 years after he was born, Jesus Christ was referred to as, “our Lord” by the U.S. government…

"We the People..." " the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty-seven..."

…Every signer of the Constitution subscribed to this wording, including George Washington, and Benjamin Franklin.

Some say that it was only a custom, or a tradition, or a formality of that time period to subscribe to the words, “in the Year of our Lord” on a legal document. And yet, eleven years earlier, the Declaration of Independence, which formed the United States, (which mentions our Creator, Nature’s God, the Supreme Judge of the world, and Divine Providence), was simply dated, July 4, 1776.

George Washington dated his last will and testament simply, “in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety”; while Benjamin Franklin chose to acknowledge the Lord in Latin, dating his will, “Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and eighty nine”. Our whole dating system is based on AD (Anno Domini), the Year of our Lord.

So the U. S. Government referring to “our Lord” isn’t something carelessly written down in the Constitution by thoughtless men—as certain historians, and scholars, and professers of knowledge would have everyone believe.
